Featured Barbecues Article: In the realm of barbeque grills, the war between charcoal and gas has been long ongoing. While very few would refuse the smoky flavor a charcoal grill gives, the barbeque gas grill beats it in every other way.
Barbequing on cold and possibly snowy days would be a real hassle if your grill was a charcoal one but a barbeque gas grill easily casts these problems away. Without the need to get down and dirty with charcoal bags in the snow and with the ever convenient automatic igniter making it a breeze to get the fire started, do you still want a charcoal grill?
No one can deny that operating a charcoal grill is a messy ordeal with ash build up being the biggest drawback. A charcoal grill can also become a fire hazard if not used carefully. Barbeque grills however do not have these issues and can be operated by kids if their parents unwisely permit. No charcoal also means no waiting time to get the fire started as gas grills come to life with the push of an igniter. All you need is a propane tank which should be quite easy to get and this defeats keeping and unloading bags of charcoal any day.
The difference between the foods cooked on either grill is actually too minimal to take into account and it is just a simple fact that sooner or later, charcoal grills will have to pave way for barbeque gas grills as gas really is the way to go.
